Świat MMA reaguje na pięć lat zawieszenia dla Diaza

W wyniku 5 lat zawieszenia dla Nicka Diaza przez świat MMA przetoczyła się prawdziwa fala oburzenia.

Nick Diaz został zawieszony na 5 lat przez Komisję Sportową w Nevadzie i dotkliwie ukarany finansowo za wykrycie w jego organizmie marihuany przy okazji gali UFC 183, na której zmierzył się z Andersonem Silvą. Brazylijczyk kilka tygodni temu również został ukarany rocznym zawieszeniem.

Na nic zdały się płomienne mowy obrońcy Nicka Diaza, Lucasa Middlebrooka, który jak lew bronił swojego klienta, wskazując na mnóstwo nieprawidłowości przy pobieraniu próbki od stocktończyka. Komisja zupełnie zignorowała jego argumenty.

Middlebrook zapowiedział już apelację, uznając, że kara jest wynikiem prywatnej vendetty członków Komisji.
